The Wizard of Oz – Assistant Director

Zoe A. Tyler was Assistant Director of The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition, a collaboration of Design & Arts Corps in partnership with First Place AZ, a residential community for autistic and disabled adults. They were approved to perform the Youth Edition of The Wizard of Oz to support access needs. The residents of the show were Actors while all technical roles were filled in by volunteer Arizona State University students. This musical was the first of many sold-out performances by First Place residents, with an audience of over 200 people.

One of Zoe’s favorite memories from this production was seeing a double rainbow with the cast at the end of a rehearsal.
