Childsplay – Volunteer Internship Coordinator & Teaching Associate
As the Volunteer Internship Coordinator, Zoe A. Tyler ensures Childsplay’s Internship Program gives teens ages 14- 18 years leadership opportunities in theatre and classroom settings in assistance to our programs. Interns are meaningfully utilized to assist professional teaching artists by encouraging students to participate or helping guide them in activities, scenes, or choreography. Interns receive mentorship and professional development training with regular opportunities to take part in leadership.
As the Teaching Associate, Zoe gets to teach in a variety of settings! She has previously taught art residencies, school workshops, acting classes, early education drama classes. From “Pre-K Muppets & Puppets” to “Macbeth Production Stagecraft,” Zoe is ready to substitute any class at any time.
Zoe’s favorite memory as Volunteer Internship Coordinator & Teaching Associate was when the Intern Social Media Team constructed a real-life Mario kart racing competition. That was the best team building activity, and it made hilarious content for the Intern Instagram!
